In March of 2002 we lost a good friend and a great man. Mike Condon, a long time resident to Northeast Philadelphia, died suddenly after suffering a heart attack. Mike was a Father Judge graduate and a member of the Insulators Union Local 14. Mike was very dedicated to the Delaware Valley Community. He was well known in the hockey world from the youth level up to and including the professional ranks. Mike took pride in building youth athlete's character both on and off the ice. He was very active with the Frankford Boys Club and gave many hours of community service to this program. Mike touched many lives as a coach, hockey official, baseball umpire, teacher, mentor and friend.
